We are thrilled to be exhibiting ‘GHOSTLIGHT’ as part the Fourth Annual Sculpture Trail held in the beautiful historic grounds of Bayfield Hall overlooking the River Glaven in Norfolk. Curated by Sarah Cannell [Raveningham Sculpture Trail], realised by Creative Odyssey CIC, with the kind permission of Caroline and Roger Combe.
The trail opens to the public on September 17th 2025 and showcases the amazing work of 40 artists responding directly to the landscape and environment.
‘GHOSTLIGHT’ consists of 60 solid cast plaster light bulbs impregnated with wildflower seeds, perched atop thin pre-weathered steel rods to create, en masse, a field of ideas. The seeds are designed to slowly release with the action of the elements. All materials are non-toxic and environmentally considered.
The lightbulb motif is a visual directive towards the concept of ideas, a eureka moment and the idea of power in nature alongside the man-made within nature, plus a play on the word ‘bulb’; the capacity for creating light or a bulb [flora] with the capacity for creating life.
Dates: 17th September – 19th October 2025, open Wed – Sun 10-4pm.
Tickets: under 18’s free. Adults – £8
