Ssshhhh Secret Auction

We are thrilled to be supporting the ‘Ssshhhh Secret Auction’ fund raiser for Cromer Artspace which takes place both online and in real life at the amazing Artspace on the Prom from the 9th to 25th of August 2025.

Cromer Artspace CIO was set up in 2019 with the aim of bringing ART to Cromer for the benefit of residents and visitors. Over the last three years they have established an exciting and stunning contemporary art space in an iconic art deco building on the promenade, which is rapidly gaining a reputation for interesting work and high standards.

Despite a successful funding bid for the renovation of this much-loved building, which had previously been empty for a decade, the running costs of Artspace on the Prom requires on-going funding, which is where the proceeds of the Secret Auction can be a great help.

Since the last Secret Auction in 2023 there has been enormous progress in renovating the space, developing the Bigger Picture project into new partnerships with national galleries, beginning a Bursary Scheme and running the first outdoor sculpture exhibition.

Cromer Artspace are also hoping to develop further support for emerging artists and to provide creative opportunities for community members.  This auction will help build on the successes so far achieved and be part of creating something unique and very special in North Norfolk.
